What we paint
From a single panel to the whole vehicle
Whether the damage came from a collision, a winter of rock chips, or rust that finally broke through, the goal is the same: put the finish back so nobody can tell where the work was done. We refinish all makes and models, including vehicles we didn't sell.
Single panel refinish
One door, one fender, one bumper cover. The new finish is blended into the surrounding panels so the transition doesn't show in daylight.
Collision refinishing
Panels replaced or repaired after an accident are primed, sealed, and painted as part of the repair, then reassembled and inspected.
Rock chips and road rash
Hoods and front bumpers take the worst of a Minnesota winter. We can spot-repair or refinish the panel depending on how far the chipping has spread.
Rust repair
Rust has to be cut out or treated before anything is sprayed over it. Paint on top of active rust will fail, so we address the metal first.
Color matching
Your color, not something close to it
The hard part of refinishing isn't spraying. It's matching. Two vehicles built the same year in the same color can leave the factory slightly different, and sun exposure shifts things further over time.
We use Sherwin-Williams automotive finishes, which carry an industry-leading color reference and formula retrieval system. Sherwin-Williams tracks factory production and documents color variants as they appear, so the formula we mix accounts for the version of the color actually on your vehicle.
Two heated booths
Controlled environment, correct cure
Paint needs the right temperature and clean air to adhere and cure the way the manufacturer intended. A finish sprayed in an uncontrolled space can trap dust, cure unevenly, or fail early.
Both of our collision centers run heated paint booths, which means the finish cures properly year round instead of fighting a Minnesota February. Two booths also means we can keep jobs moving rather than stacking them behind a single bay.

Will the new paint match the rest of my vehicle?
That's the whole objective. We pull the factory formula for your color, account for documented production variants, and blend the new finish into adjacent panels so there's no hard line where the repair stops.
Can you paint just one panel, or does the whole car need doing?
One panel is common and usually the right call. Refinishing a single panel and blending it is less expensive than a full repaint and keeps the rest of your original factory finish intact.
How long does a paint job take?
It depends on how many panels are involved, whether bodywork or rust repair comes first, and how much cure and reassembly time the job needs. We'll give you a timeline with your written estimate.
What paint do you use?
Sherwin-Williams automotive finishes, applied in heated booths. Their color reference and formula retrieval system is a large part of how we hit the match.
Can you paint over rust?
No, and no reputable shop should. Active rust keeps spreading underneath a new finish and the paint will lift. The affected metal has to be repaired or replaced first, which we'll spell out in the estimate.
Is the paint work guaranteed?
Yes. Our repairs carry a lifetime guarantee for as long as you own the vehicle.
How should I care for fresh paint?
Give the finish time before you put it through anything harsh. We'll tell you at pickup how long to wait on automatic car washes, waxing, and polishing for your specific job.
